Work & Travel Comments

As tourism operators who are active within, and have product to fit the education segment, ANZA was extremely beneficial. We met with close to 50 companies across the 2 day event, and the majority were qualified leads, definitely interested in seeing how we can work together. Not only could we meet with agents who bring in international students, but also with schools who encourage school trips and learning opportunities outside of the classroom.

iVenture Card Australia attended the ANZA Workshop in Brisbane and found it to be very beneficial. Not only did we make valuable contacts within the Youth / Student markets, but also secured new business. If you are interested in accessing the global Youth / Student markets, I would recommend attending the ANZA workshop.

Having attended trade events in the past, such as TRENZ and WYSTC, I wasn't sure how ANZA would stack up. I was in for a great treat. From the pre-event organisation, appointment setting through to the networking functions and 1 on 1 meetings, it was a very valuable event.
The seminars provided some great information and thought provoking sessions. The B2B meetings were 25 minutes, far better than the 15 minutes given at other trade events.
As a work and travel participant, I was concerned that agents and institutions would see me as an inter-loper, trying to flog my wares. I was wrong. Without exception, all the delegates I saw were happy to have travel operators there, as they appreciated the inextricable links between students and tourism.
I would recommend any operator to attend the ANZA workshop as a value for money and exceptionally professional event.

As a first time participant at ANZA I found the staff, agents and educators to be of a high professional standard. I found the conference to be refreshing, since we now have a small understanding of the importance of the tourism and education sectors working together. I'm looking forward to a more collaborative approach towards making Australia an attractive and safe destination for youth travellers and students alike.

Thanks for another great event. Our time was used efficiently and we are happy with the standard of appointments we had. Well done to you all at ICEF.
